HTC One M8 Google Play edition receiving its Android 6.0 update

It may be coming a smidge later than originally anticipated, but the HTC One M8 Google Play edition’s Marshmallow update has officially arrived.

Mo Versi, HTC’s VP of Product Management, says that the HTC One M8 Google Play edition’s Android 6.0 update is now rolling out. The Marshmallow bump is build MRA58K, and it weighs in at 450.4MB.

The Google Play edition program may be long gone, but at least some of the members are still getting major OS upgrades. The One M8 GPe is more than 2 years old at this point, but it’s now getting Android 6.0, and it’s great to see HTC still showing the phone some love.
